Mini American Burgers


PREP TIME 10 minutes
COOK TIME 10 minutes


For the patties;
500g Pure Black beef mince
¼ brown onion, finely diced
Generous pinch of Tasman sea salt
Generous pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp american mustard
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

For the burgers;
1-2 dill pickles, thinly sliced
4-5 cherry tomatoes, cut into rounds
3-4 brioche rolls
3 iceberg lettuce leaves
50g Ashgrove cheddar cheese


Step 1
Add all patty ingredients to a stand mixer and use the folding attachment to bring all ingredients together.

Step 2
Using a small round cookie cutter, cut brioche rolls into bite size rounds. Repeat the same process with the lettuce leaves and cheese.

Step 3
Roll mince into bite size pieces and place into an oiled pan over medium heat. Brown for approximately 5 minutes each side. Once flipped, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty.

To serve, place a layer of lettuce, followed by the patty and cheese, pickle and tomato on each bun. Secure with a toothpick.
