Beer Battered Oysters
PREP TIME 15 minutes
COOK TIME 5 minutes
1 cup plain flour
1 cup ice cubes
1 tbsp lemon pepper
Tasman sea salt
2 ½ cups beer
1 lemon, sliced into wedges
Lightly dust oysters in a bowl of flour and sit aside.
Add lemon pepper and a pinch of salt into the bowl of flour and mix together.
Gradually add beer into the bowl and mix together until it reaches a thick consistency.
Once at a thick consistency, add ice cubes and mix again.
Coat oysters in batter before placing into a pot of hot oil for approx 2-3 minutes until cooked.
Once cooked, serve up with lemon wedges and a pinch of salt.
