Maple and Chilli Popcorn Pork


PREP TIME 5 minutes
COOK TIME 15 minutes


½ cup maple syrup
1 tbsp ground coriander seeds
3 star anise
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 lemon, juice
3 pork spare ribs
1 cup 4 Roses plain flour
1 pinch Tasman sea salt
Frying oil


Step 1
Add maple syrup, coriander seeds, star anise, chilli flakes and lemon juice to a bowl and mix together.

Step 2
Chop ribs into bite-size pieces and add to bowl and mix together well.

Step 3
Once mixed together, remove star anise and add in flour and salt before mixing together and leaving to sit.

Step 4
After 5 minutes place pork into hot oil for a few minutes until cooked through.
