PREP TIME 2 minutes
COOK TIME 30 minutes
1 cup brown sugar
3 cups water
3 pears, with cores removed and in quarters
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cardamom pods
Add brown sugar and water to a pot on a high heat.
Add pears into pot with cinnamon, cardamom pods and cloves and leave to cook for approx 15-20 minutes.
After 15-20 minutes when pears are cooked through, plate up with a drizzle of sauce from the pot over the top.
