Barbecue Quail with Balsamic Glaze
PREP TIME 10 minutes
COOK TIME 15 minutes
5 fillets quail, butterflied + de-boned
½ lemon, juice
1 red chilli, sliced
2 tbsp Pukara fig balsamic
2 figs, cut in half
Pukara olive oil
Place quail onto hot char grill and cook for approx 2-3 minutes on each side before removing and placing onto a warming plate.
Place figs into a bowl with fig balsamic, a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt, lemon juice and chilli and mix together well until figs are coated.
Once figs are coated, place onto char grill and cook for approx 2-3 minutes each side before placing on top of quail with a drizzle of dressing over the top.
