Cola Beef Short Rib


PREP TIME 10 minutes
COOK TIME 1 hour 10 minutes


1 beef short rib
1 tbsp Pukara olive oil
5 cloves garlic, chopped finely
½ onion, diced
1 tbsp cumin + coriander seeds
1 tbsp chilli flakes
3 cups cola
2 tbsp tamari sauce
Tasman sea salt
Ground pepper
1 tbsp Pukara pomegranate oil


Step 1
Place beef into a pressure cooker on a high heat with oil and leave until cooked.

Step 2
Once beef is cooked, remove from pressure cooker and add in garlic, onion, cumin and coriander seeds, chilli flakes, cola, tamari sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper before putting beef back in pressure cooker with pomegranate oil and cooking for a further 40 minutes.

Step 3
After approx 40 minutes, remove lid from pressure cooker and reduce by half for approx 10 minutes.

Step 4
After approx 10 minutes, remove beef and sit aside to rest for approx 5 minutes before serving.
