French Toast

INGREDIENTS

125g cream cheese
½ lemon, juice
1 tbsp icing sugar
3 eggs
1 cup milk
4 slices white bread
8 strawberries, sliced

METHOD

Step 1
Add cream cheese, lemon juice and icing sugar to a bowl and mix together.

Step 2
Add eggs and milk to another bowl and beat together.

Step 3
Quickly dunk bread in egg mixture to soak.

Step 4
Once bread is soaked, place it onto a pan with strawberries and a medium layer of cream cheese mixture on top. Add second slice of bread on top and leave to cook on both sides.

Step 5
Once bread is cooked and is approx 80ºC, plate up with strawberries and a sprinkle of icing sugar on top.
