Stuffed Mushrooms


PREP TIME 10 minutes
COOK TIME 35 minutes


13 mushrooms
1 drizzle Pukara olive oil
1 brown onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, diced
125g cream cheese
⅓ cup parmesan cheese
1 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 pinch Tasman sea salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper


Step 1
Preheat oven to 170ºC. Finely dice the stems from mushrooms and place them into an oiled pan and fry off with onion and garlic for approx 10 minutes.

Step 2
Once cooked, add to a bowl with cream cheese, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt and cayenne pepper and mix together well.

Step 3
Once mixed together, place a large spoonful of mixture inside mushrooms and dunk them into breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Then place into the oven for approx 20-30 minutes until cooked.
