Sweet Pear Sliders


PREP TIME 5 minutes
COOK TIME 10 minutes


2 cups water
1 cup sugar
4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
2 pears, peeled
2 brioche buns, cut in half
1 tbsp truffle honey
2 tbsp Robur Farm goats chèvre
1 cos lettuce


Step 1
In a small pot, add water, sugar and 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, bring to boiling point. Add the pear and boil for approximately 15 minutes.

Step 2
In pan over medium heat add the brioche buns and toast until golden brown.

Step 3
To make the glaze, add remaining balsamic to a separate pan and reduce for 5 minutes. Add honey and reduce for a further 3 minutes.

Step 4
Slice pears into thin wedges and brush over balsamic glaze. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.

To serve, spread goats cheese over the top of each bun. Top with a small piece of lettuce and a wedge of pear. Drizzle with remaining balsamic glaze.
