Caramel Brie


PREP TIME 2 minutes
COOK TIME 10 minutes


2 cups white sugar
½ cup water
10 pecans
1 round brie cheese, pecans on top


Step 1
Add sugar to a pot of water on heat and stir until dissolved.

Step 2
Once at a boil, use a wet pastry brush to remove any crystallisation forming on the side of the pot.

Step 3
Once at a caramelised golden colour and is at 160ºC, remove from heat and pour over brie cheese with pecans on top.

Step 4
Plate up with thin strands of caramel on top by using a fork to stretch it out and harden up.
